Spell Check

This is a utility/debug Plugin that can be used to check your spelling
of various texts throughout your game.

You’re going to need a text file to contain a list of all the words that
you wish to check against. You can find one here:

How to Use

This plugin checks the spelling of all the Text-EX text in the game.

This includes:

Message Window Text
Help Window Text
Battle Log Text
Name Text
…and much more!

The words that have been determined to have mistakes will have a colored
highlight on them. When you place your mouse over the highlight,
suggestions for what the word you were trying to spell will appear.

You can right-click the highlight to stop the suggestions from
disappearing. That way, you can copy down the suggestions while the game
is running.

I love this idea, but I’m having problems with it. Most always, the first word of the 2nd line is highlighted as misspelled. There is always a long gap in front of it too, like it sees spaces. This only happens when there are graphics beside the text. Any suggestions?

Actually, to follow up on this, I think I found a bug. The reason sometimes the first word in the 2nd line is improperly flagged as misspelled is because apparently the text entry as a whole is concatenated. It gets confused if there’s no space after the last word of the 1st line.

Apparently it’s the actual rpg_windows.js textState that somehow concatenates the string. That’s unfortunate.

Hi SumRndmDde, so I tried to get it this one running
    …plugin set and activated-check
…words.txt downloaded and placed in data folder-check
    …am I missing a dependency here?
    …I am using version 1.4.1
